So normally writing motivation is a problem for me. I have to find all sorts of tricks to work around it and get anything done. Zero distractions, focusing music, no stress, ect.
For Sneaker Princess, in a strangely fitting turn of events, I've added 'writing shoes' to the list.
I have this darling set of shoes I usually reserve just for walking practice. I've found that when I wear them while writing I tend to get at least some work done without fail. At least 1K+ before stopping.
Might have to consider them an unofficial 'Black Shoes' to the whole colored-shoes list. XD
Speaking of which, really wanna post my concept/execution of how I'm doing those soon. For once I'm going to toot my own horn and say this turned out kinda brilliantly. Said post would be super spoilerly though. Probably gonna wait til after Ch. 4 goes out so the story explains the basic concept first.
- Mood: Lmao
- Listening to: Beeps and boops.
- Reading: Pathfinder stuff
- Watching: I really should start C this week...
- Playing: Rune Factory 4
- Eating: Freezer Food
- Drinking: Water
That's pretty interesting! Haha. (I've really got to find some time to sit and read those first couple chapters and see your writing shoes in action. xD)
is this for all writing or just this series specifically? XD
So far just for this one. I know the original draft of Sakuri I had to listen to 'Roar' before doing work. Birth of a Succubus called for Corpse Party music. XD So they all seem to have their own little quirks.
