2) Who is your favorite OC?

AD: Sabbath. I think he's probably the "lightest" shade of "dark" I've ever made a character in terms of morality. That and it gives me a chance to actually write a guy character that isn't even partially bishonen. XD

ES: Fermina. Not so much for her personality, which is relatively emotionless with a touch of "adorable"; but rather for the fact that I adore her character design. Out of the entire list of characters in ES she just barely ranks above Lyriel.

SD: Aio and Shida. In this case I'm allowed to put these two on at the same time due to the fact that Shida was created as a "parallel Aio". Unlike most stories which utilize a "light/dark" clone system for main character copies, I instead am treating Shida as a part of Aio that's just as dominant but not completely opposite; just highly repressed.

The reason I am fond of these two is Aio and Shida are probably the closest reflects of who I really am as a person. Aio is the eternal skeptic who is quiet, contemplative, very aware of things going on around her and would do anything to protect those she loves regardless of the cost to any one else. Shida is extremely naive with a mild sadistic streak. She loves having fun and wants nothing more than to just live a carefree life without worries. This is made somewhat difficult by her forceful personality, sarcastic tongue, and a relative inability to lie about anything.

MP: Kureiji. Again just for character design. I haven't worked a whole lot on this story so I can't talk too much about personality, but the idea of having a psychotic assassin girl who can still be adorable, likable, and just plain crazy all rolled into one is too tempting to not like.

L5R: Zankantou. Freaking...Zankantou. XD Lemme just quickly list the Advantages and Shadowlands powers he has. That alone will over-ride the need for me to even get into his character as it'll be too much epic for y'all to handle. >>

3) Who is your least favorite?

AD: Hmm...probably Amo. Simply because she's so freaking hard to find a fitting role for. XD I'm still shifting her around. >.<

ES: Verena. Something still bugs me about her character design. :-/

SD: Eridole. Why? Well...in the rare case I can partner with someone to create this as a web comic I don't want to spoil it so...that's a secret. :3

MP: Jomei. He's so under developed right now...

L5R: Fusenmei. Mechanically, he was a pretty good character. Personality-wise, I could never find anything that worked for him. He was a failed experiment.

4) Who is your most developed?

AD: Sabbath/Reaver. Again I know I'm double picking but they're pretty much the only "main" characters in the whole story, thus they share equal development.

ES: Lyriel. This character's probably got the most heartwrenching story of everyone due to all the choices between her friends, her duty, her people, and her heart she has to make.

SD: Aio/Shida. I think I ranted on this enough already. Xd

MP: Eh...none. They're both kinda blank slates right now.

L5R: Zankantou again. XD I've spent a lot of time thinking how to handle him. I'm hoping to write a bit of fiction with him and some other L5R creations actually.


5) Which OC would you want to date if they magically came to life?

AD: ...hmm. I'm not sure actually. :-/ None of them I think would even be interested in dating. They either have other halves, aren't human enough to be interested in human rituals like that, or have some nasty lost loves that still eat at them.

ES: Good question...I'd say Aioshi. ^^~ She's the kinda person who'd end up teaming up with me to torment everyone else in the immediate vicinity. XD

SD: Probably Presia. I'd be interested just to see how an Apthemy/Human relationship would end up.

MP: None. ._. Oh heck none. They'd kill me for even knowing about them. XD

L5R: None again. Samurai don't "date" alas due to the restrictions of the society at the time.

6) How many girl OCs do you have? Boy OCs? It OCs?

You really want me to count that list? >> Really?

7) If you were stuck in a burning building what do you think the third OC on your list would do?

AD: Lead me out by latching onto my hand with his mouth and pulling. Reaver's a good dog/wolf. :3

ES: Amelia? Probably put it out with some weird concoction of hers. It'd probably put out the fire or cause it to erupt. XD

SD: Alyai'd probably pass out and would be in dire need to rescue. >.<; She is aligned with Ice after all.

MP: Oops. No 3rd OC here. XD

L5R: Sashu'd drink a cup of Sake then order his bodyguard Sakuya to knock over the nearest wall and just walk out.

8) Name one thing you regret about one of your OCs.

For everything: That I haven't found a way to fully present their stories.

9) Which of your OCs do you think would make the best father/mother/it parent out of all your OCs and why??

For everything: None of them. XD None of these people have any business being parents until epilogue stuff.

AD: Sabbath. >.<; He's a bit of a troublemaker.

ES: Lyriel. She doesn't know anything about human laws.

SD: Shida. Probably for assault and battery. XD

MP: All of them.

ES: Etude already is in the future. XD This question can't apply to him.

SD: Shida...work? That's a laugh. ^^

So...been a bit busier than usual with the whole move in and post-wedding stuffs so I haven't had a chance to touch base with a lot of things. Haven't touched the trap list yet but I do have a basic premise for Midnight's Prism going so I thought I'd run it by the viewing public. Keep in mind this stuff is very rough and still need some serious hashing out. I'm still missing a character name and a fair amount of backstory for the last 3 cast members.


Plot Premise: The plot I have in mind is an actiony/supernatural story revolving around a group of 4 misfit characters led by a mysterious mentor who's name changes upon the nationality of the individual he is addressing (explained more in his section below). With the exception of this "mentor" character, all the major cast have something that is seriously wrong with them either mentally or physically when under normal circumstances would make them all but invalids. However the mentor gathers his collection of "broken things" and fashions them into a group of top caliber assassins which seem to save the world from threats both internal and external. Regardless of methods used...

Major Cast Listing: 5 Mains (Making this the 2nd lowest cast listing next only by one character beaten by Azure Dawn.)

"Jomei"- "Jomei" is the name this character originally gave to Kureiji upon their first meeting. As she was the first to be recruited by him the other characters agreed to refer to him by this name regardless of the alternate pseudonyms Jomei gave to them. Jomei is a character shrouded in enigma and mystery. A shrewd businessman on the surface but a ruthless assassin underneath the public persona. He seems to have powers beyond that of any of the other cast, a feat in and of itself. His morals are someone...skewed, to say the least. If anyone or anything gets in his way it is sure to die a painful and probably not so quick death, but despite this force of malice Jomei has never been known to show more than a trace of emotion.

It is of note that Jomei's given name changes upon the nationality of whomever he is addressing. If he speaks to a Russian person, he gives a Russian name for an example. So it is for certain that Jomei is not his true name.

Kureiji- The story of this character is a rather unusual one as the body and soul of this character were originally not born together. A young girl within the land of Japan was born with a guardian spirit watching over her since birth. This spirit happened to be that of an Usagi (rabbit). However during her teenage years an horrific incident occurred in which the girl was brutalized by her fellow peers and left for dead. The guardian spirit tried to merge with her soul, but the hatred felt by the dying girl corrupted the effort and all was in vain. Yet during the attempt the Usagi spirit wound up grafted onto the girl's body and caused a dark miracle. Her body was brought back to life, fully merged with the Usagi (which resulted in Kureiji's body having real rabbit ears instead of humans) and containing all the rage and hatred felt upon the moment of death. The Usagi spirit went mad and slaughtered all those responsible for the girl's death.

Later she was rescued by Jomei and recruited to join his group of assassins. Kureiji's damaged mind and spirit leads to her being very childish and possessive. Her temper can blaze up with little to no provocation and once she begins to attack whatever has fixated her anger there is precious little anyone can do to stop her.


Reaver- Reaver was born an ordinary grey wolf and was later captured by North American military for experimentation for bio-organic weaponry. Reaver was subjected to an extensive battery of tests which increased his mental powers in both intelligence and the mystical art of Psionic powers. Eventually this triggered an usual effect to change into a humanoid form, however both this form and his wolf form was left with deep scarring over the entire body which glows a deep hue of blue (as do his eyes).

Reaver was eventually judged to be too self-aware to be used as a weapon of war and they sought to destroy him. However Reaver's self-awareness has progressed far beyond what anyone had calculated, as had his powers. Said powers were then used to obliterate the facility and Reaver set himself upon the remaining staff members.

It was there he was recruited by Jomei during the height of the struggle. Reaver can be said to be the tactician of the team due to his high intelligence, but his experiences have left him quite mistrusting of anyone even resembling a human being. Due to his extensive scarring he also cannot venture into public except under special circumstances.


Olenka- Olenka started life as a young Russian woman in her 20's. She was forcefully kidnapped from her home and used as an experiment by remnants of the USSR to create the perfect amphibious weapon. The experiments forcibly altered the very DNA of Olenka's body and resulted in a very unusual transformation. So long as she remains on dry land and away from heavy sources of water, she appears to be a gray skinned human with a variety of tattoos running all over her body below the next. There is a key feature though: She sports a pair of ryu-mimi ears and tail. For whenever she is exposed to a large volume of water for more than 20 seconds she transforms form being a human into a mermaid.

However due to her inability to revert into a human without distinguishing features she was abandoned along with the facility. Jomei managed to rescue her before the facility detonated. As an assassin Olenka can make for a good infiltrator so long as precautions are taken to hide her unusual traits in human form. However her true specialty is with hydrokenisis.

Unnamed character- This character is a Kitsune spirit in humanoid form. She has an affinity for music and can use sound waves as her weapon of choice. Quite oddly she will not address anyone until they have proven that they can play alongside her in a duet with any instrument of her choosing. Forcing her to acknowledge your presence before this will result in a rather messy death, usually to classical music turned lethal.

Good News: I'm getting married today. :3

Bad News: So...I'm only two references from having everything I need for Scarlet Dusk. No other story in my triad has come this far down the development scale until now...and guess what happens? Midnight's Prism. That's right, not content with three incomplete universes clouding my mind a 4th one has sprung up with such ferocity and potential that I simply cannot ignore it.

Expect a rough blueprint sometime in the near future.

And maybe another 50 Traps list. I have way too much creative energy to burn and I need to filter it into something. ~.~

Apparently yesterday's Omnidrink prank accumulated in massive glitch that makes my account appear as though it was removed.
