Ranmyaku Garandou is the leader of a band of "pirates" that plague the land of Kotengu and captain of her own vessel, the Mononoke (Specter). She began life as a samurai serving the Empress of Kotengu and joined their main military branch just as the war with their neighboring country Aidespar was beginning. Ranmyaku's unit was sent in on a scouting missing into enemy territory only to find themselves in a town whose reality was warped so far that the skies were cast orange and teal. They were ambushed by a horde of demonic creatures with Ranmyaku escaping into the woods in a severely injured state.
She escaped the demons but found herself snared in a hunter's trap and unable to free herself due to the injuries. As she lay in the forest immobile for hours the ground became tainted as the same Chaos that infected the village spread over the land. This

It was in the moment of that sickening realization that I realized suddenly that I was not alone in that room anymore. Looking up towards the doorway I saw the store owner standing there; the bloody apron still draped over her dress. I could not clearly see her eyes for several strands of hair had fallen in front of them, vaguely reminding me of Constable's own eye curtain. Her knife wasn't anywhere to be seen, which I took as a good sign. At worst it appeared I was about to get a lecture and lose my status as "good dog" in the eyes of one more human. Which I could easily live with. It wasn't until the unnaturally melodic giggle that I knew I was in far more trouble.
"Silly doggie. Mischievous doggie. You know doggies like you shouldn't be playing around in places like this right? You've been very, very naughty..." I found myself quite unsure which disturbed me more, her slightly disembodied speaking voice or that unnatural quivering her hair was doing.
As the wom

Azure Dawn: Chapter 1
Only the rhythmic rattling of an overhead fan and the occasional clink of glass resounded in the bar that morning. Even though the blinds were drawn tightly shut small rays of light managed to penetrate through and provide a small form of illumination. Several tables filled the floor with chairs turned upside down upon their faces, each one arranged symmetrically as though on display at an art gallery. A row of seven chairs in the very back sat as a center piece to this unusual exhibit; lined up directly in front of the serving bar for customers who preferred to watch their drink being made. Or for those who wished to have a direct word with the host.
One of these chairs was currently marked for this purpose; a long brown coat signaling the seat's state of occupation. Despite being at the far end of the bar bits of light still managed to provide a miniscule form of illumination for the man seated there. It allowed him the momentary distraction of reading the ingre

Fleeting rays from dusk's glory illuminated the forest outside the steel carriage's window, albeit hard to tell one tree from another as all the green blurred into one amalgamation. Hanging slightly out the window and letting the wind pass over me with its cool caress always made the trip go better. Although hitting my head squarely on the window top for every pothole the Master managed to hit stole some of that pleasure. After the third round of this I withdrew my head and growled at him.
"Are you still half asleep? Most people try to at least go around the sunken earth, rather than intentionally put themselves through a carnival ride from hell."
The only response I received was a hand on the head with a small scratch on the right ear, followed by the usual cajoling manner.
"Easy Reaver, just try to take it a little while longer. Be a good boy and don't growl in my ear while driving, unless you want me to hit more of these blasted craters."
A snort with my nose in

Personality/Background: Perhaps one of the oldest Apthemites in existence, Alieta was also one of the most powerful. Quickly ascending to a matriarchal role in keeping Apthemy society organized she heralded a relatively peaceful millennium, until the corruption of Apthemy (which happened perhaps once or twice a decade) suddenly became a mild epidemic. Alieta used her powers to contain and purify many of those affected but doing so made her personally vulnerable. Shortly after Alieta herself was completely over taken by the corruption and became a malevolent force unrivaled by any other. The transformation turned the once kind and wise Alieta into a mind filled with dire schemes and frightening powers of manip

Adair Sorcery: When the Adair family's name first appeared in history, it was that of a few sorcerer's whose great powers turned the tide in a battle for Viveka itself. This brand of sorcery is unlike any other in recorded history, as its operating mode is highly intriguing to those who have been granted the privelage of studying it. Currently what is known about Adair Sorcery is as follows: First, it utilizes a special language all of it's own which is composed of several very short sounds. When spoken in an incantation, the listener is given the impression that the caster is speaking words at a rate far that exceeding normal human speech. One listener of sharp hearing discerned that within one minute, nearly 5000 seperate words were spoken throughout the incantation. In fact those of the Adair family go through intense verbal and tonal training to ensure their capasity to handle this special power. Secondly, the power itself seems to have no set form and varries from per
A Mother's Love: 3
Eventually, Gib was forced through the sphincter to a noisily churning and kneading room that the boy did not want to be in at all. His claws were starting to cling to anything in the throat, but it was also his intention to not kill this woman. He couldn’t slice up her insides since she honestly was trying to help him. Even if it was in a warped manner. His grip slackened and that pushed him entirely into Eira’s stomach, splatting clumsily on the saliva-covered lumpy bottom. The room naturally and involuntarily moved on its own, which made Gib very nauseous and not comforted at all. Stumbling around a bit, he tried to keep somewhat stationed as he forced his back into one of the crevices. He brought the rag close to his form as his ears pinned down in order to block at the gurgling sounds. His sensitive hearing was something he wished he didn't have when he was this close to a thumping heart, squelching stomach, and lungs o
Damien's Time - Jupiter and Saturn Approached Jehovah immediately went to see if Jupiter or Saturn could help him create life within his Garden of Eden. He wasn't sure which planet he needed to appear on to get his help, but as he neared the planets that question was answered for him. A space station that had appeared dead when he was still off in the distance, came to life as he came closer to the planets. Jehovah took this as a welcoming from Jupiter and Saturn and accepted it as a place to make his appearance.
Jehovah was not happy once her arrived within the confines of the space station. He had expected to be greeted by Jupiter and Saturn when he arrived in their space station. Yet neither one of them was anywhere to be seen. Apparently they expected him to wait for them. Jehovah did not have time for this. He needed to get back to the Earth as fast as he could with a solution for creating a human. He also took their actions as a personal insult. How dare they try and make him wait. He was the rule

Chapter: 22 The Cold Shoulder
I was the first to rise the next morning, just as the sun did the same. "Onas.", I tapped his shoulder.
The brawny gypsy began to stir. "Hmmm? Morning already?"
"Yes, can you get everyone up?"
"It's my specialty, Hans.", chuckled Onas as he grabbed Eduardo by the face and shoved him into his armpit.
"GEEEEAGH!", wheezed Eduardo. "Alright! I'm up! I'm up! Just stop shoving me into those horrible pits!"
Luckily, Eduardo's outburst caused the others to awaken, sparing them from the same smelly fate. Mama stretched herself out, "Rise and shine! I want everyone ready to move now!"
Everyone stretched out and geared up for the end of our trip. I locked eyes with Vita for a brief moment. "Good morning.", she sighed, averting my ga
Vengeance: Chapter 9Desmond flinched at the explosive commotion behind him. The ground shook with Sam's footfalls in the direction Dean had gone. Rosalyn suddenly straightened and brushed past Desmond. Her wings stopped twitching, and he realized that she had been faking injury.
"Rosalyn," he snapped, lunging forward and catching her arm before she could fly off.
She looked over her shoulder at him, frowning apologetically. "We had to get him to put you down before we did anything," she explained.
His eyes went round as he swiftly pieced together what was going on. They were attacking the hunters, but of course they wouldn't have done it while one of them was holding a fairy. "What the hell?" Desmond scowled at the girl, though the venom wasn't directed at her. "They used you as bait?"
"Don't be mad at them. It was my idea," she insisted. The look on her innocent face was sickeningly triumphant, proud that she had made a contribution to the cause. The face of someone who was too young to handle the

Chapter: 25 The Better Man
The kingdom of Arendelle was preparing for the first siege in its history, and everyone was on edge. Muskets were distributed, swords were sharpened, and barricades were constructed. Elsa had ordered all of the women and children to seek shelter in the caves hidden behind the kingdom's waterfall. I had remembered journeying under the falls with Anna during the coronation ball. The caves expanded far into the mountain, offering plenty of refuge for the citizens of Arendelle. Anna and Kristoff had spent the majority of the day ushering them to the caves while the rest of us set up defenses around the kingdom.
Elsa and I peered over the castle walls and observed the sea. "By now, the Duke of Weselton has made it through the desert pass. He'll come in over those hills just as we did," I pointed across t

Chapter: 21 The Road to Arendelle
"What is happening when and who is going where?!", shrieked Bo. The man grew flustered and grabbed at his short hair. "Mama, this is suicide!"
"It's suicide if we don't go!", barked Mama as she packed her gear. "Besides, if we are meant to die....we die. If we aren't...we live. It's that simple."
Bo stood firmly in front of her. "Mama, I beg you reconsider."
Mama smiled gently and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Bo, my dear. Deep down, you know this is what must be done."
"But I....", Bo choked up. "We need to stick together. If you go, I'll fight alongside you and-"
Mama chuckled, "You've never fired a rifle in your life."
"Then I'll use my sword!", he insisted.
